Schooler - Henry Clay

Henry Clay Schooler, well known in Lafayette, died Saturday at his apartments in the Ramsey block at Crawfordsville of heart trouble. His health had been impaired for two years. He was 72 years old and all his life was spent in Montgomery county. William Schooler, brother of the deceased, now a member of the National Soldiers' home at Marion, was called to Crawfordsville last Thursday and was at his brother's bedside when the death came. William Schooler was for many years a resident of Lafayette. Henry Schooler also visited this city frequently and had many friends here. William Schooler, of this city, is a grandson of the deceased. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon from the home of Clinton Crane in Crawfordsville, with interment in Oak Hill cemetery.
