Albert Carl SCHLEMMER died last evening at four o'clock at the home of his father, Otto Schlemmer, on S. Green St. Death resulted from tuberculosis of the lungs, superinduced by an illness of malarial fever last July. He had been befast for the past 3 weeks. Albert Schlemmer was 33 years of age and was b. in Cincinnati. He has lived here nearly all of his life and at one time he was one of th e most popular young men of this city. Affable, with a good word for everybody, he was regarded as a typical good fellow by all of his acquaintances. Unfortunate circumstances, however, worked their ill effects, but through all the vicissitudes of life, he retained his cheerful disposition and thereby most of his friends. He was the oldest child of Mr. Schlemmer; two brothers, Will of Pittsburg, Pa; and George of this city survive him and also Miss Lottie and Mrs. Carl Weldling, nee Miss Carrie who arrived last evening from her home in Tiffin, O. The funeral will occur tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home, conducted by Rev. Nave and the interment will be at Oak Hill. The pall bearers will be Frank Hurley, WD Griffith, Howard Griffith, James Bappert, Leo Schweitzer and WA Muhlelsen. -- kbz
