Waynetown - M. Viola Schenck 93 of Waynetown died at 1:12 p.m. Tuesday in Culver Hospital. Miss Schenck was a homemaker. She was a member of the Christian Union Church at Waynetownm, Pi Mu Research Society, former Wayne Township Home Economics Club and was past matron of the Waynetown Order of Eastern Star. She attended the Wayne Township schools. She was born July 6, 1904 at Waynetown to Oliver and Anna L. Harpel Schenck. She never married. Surviving is a nephew, Lester Schenck of Spencer and three nieces, Mrs. Maxine Rush of Waynetown; Mrs. Ruth Ann Ruby of Zionsville and Mrs. Joyce Schultz of Bourbonnais, Ill. Three brothers, John, Kenneth and Russell Schenck, and a niece, Kathleen Grimble are deceased.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday in Shoemaker Funeral Home, Waynetown with Mel Vance officiating. Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 pm. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Union Church of Waynetown - kbz
