Spencer - Kenneth Schenck, 93 of Spencer, formerly of Crawfordsville and Waynetown died Thursday in Bloomington Hospital. Mr. Schenck was a livestock breeder and Yorkshire hog producer. He was a member of the Christian Union Church at Waynetown and was a past president of the American Yorkshire Hog Producers.
He was born June 5, 1901 in Waynetown to Oliver and Anna Schenck. He married Ethel Switzer June 12, 1926. She survives. Also surviving are a son, Lester of Spencer; a daughter, Joyce Schultz of Bourbonnais, Ill; a sister, Viola Schenck of Waynetown; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded by two brothers. Graveside services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery with Rev. James P. Root officiating. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at West Parris & Pedigo Funeral Home, 105 N. Montgomery St, Spencer. Memorial contributions may be made to the Spencer Christian Church - kbz
