Veedersburg - Olin "Hap" Sandlin, 58 of Veedersburg died in Williamsport Community Hospital at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. He had been a patient one day. Mr. Sandlin had been an employee of Harrison Steel Plating for 9 years. He attended Sterling Church of God. He was born at Sumiton, Alabama, on June 7, 1915, son of James and Martha White Sandlin. He married Pearley Robbins Oct 15, 1933. She preceded him Jan 10, 1973. Surviving are two sons, Odell of Attica and Terry of Hoopeston, Ill; two daughters, Mrs. Vera Pickett and Mrs. Glenda McClure of Veedersburg; four sisters, Mrs. Hazel Goggins of Birmingham, Ala; Mrs. Flora PHilips of Summiton, Ala; Mrs. Azlee Goodwin of Cullman, Ala and Mrs. Leslee Stewart of Dora, ALa and 12 grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Church of God with Rev. Berlin Roy officiating. Burial in Osborn Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call at Parham Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today.
