Dr. Edgar W. Seawright, 26 Raymond Avenue, Danville, Ill., received word of the fatal injury Saturday of his brother, W. Lynn Seawright, 45, of Richmond, Calif., who was struck by an auto while crossing a street in Richmond. He lived but a few hours after being injured. W. Lynn Seawright was director of athletics for the city of Richmond, having charge of athletics in both the school and. park systems of Richmond, and was well known throughout California as an athletic official. He was a native of Crawfordsville, being the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Seawright. He was a high-class young man and before going west was engaged in Y. M. C. A. work here. He had a host of close friends. During the World War he acted as a traveling recruiting secretary for the Y. M. C. A. He had not lived in Crawfordsville for several years. - kbz
