Ryan - Tim
Source: Crawfordsville Star 12 Oct 1882 p 1
The body of poor Tim Ryan was seen in the water of the Creek at Yountsville by a man from Alamo on last Saturday afternoon and the mystery of the unhappy fellow’s absence was solved. The body was fished out, brought to this city and interred by his brother. The coroner held an examination; found that Ryan came to his death by accidental drowning. Young Ryan was only 25 years of age and less than a year ago came from Ireland and met his brother in this city. He was mentally afflicted from a sunstroke some time since and while wandering his mind strayed off and took a notion to go swimming with the fatal result spoken of above.
