Rusk - Edna Campbell

WAYNETOWN – Mrs. Edna Elizabeth Rusk, 88, died at 7:20 p.m. Friday at the Bowles Nursing Home in Crawfordsville. She had been ill since May 30 and had been a patient at the nursing home three weeks after being in Culver Hospital five weeks. She was born Jan. 1, 1887, near Hillsboro to Albert and Elizabeth Burgner Campbell. She married David Rusk Oct. 30, 1898. She was a member of Snyder’s Chapel Church and attended the Waynetown Methodist Church after the former’s disbandment. She was educated in Fountain County schools. Survivors include her husband; a son, Clarence of Rt. 2 Waynetown; two daughters, Mrs. Marguerite Gohl of Waupaza, Wis., and Miss Helen Rusk of South Bend; a brother, Frank of Attica; a grandson, Kenneth of Rt. 2 Waynetown and three great-grandsons. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown. Rev. John Servies will officiate. Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 10:30 a.m. Sunday. -– jlr
