Clint Runyan, 52, of Lafayette, a former Crawfordsville resident, died Wednesday in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette after suffering a heart attack. A former employe of Minnie Pett's Flower Shop here, he was associated with Clark's Floral Co. at Lafayette. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Born Sept. 12, 1920, he was a son of Clint and Beulah Runyan. He married Joyce Nickloy of Crawfordsville. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, William H. of Terre Haute and James H. of West Lafayette; a daughter, Peggy Jackman of Darlington; and three grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Jump officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday.

WAYNETOWN — Clint Runyan, 69, a native of Waynetown, died suddenly Monday evening at his home in North Vernon, Ind. Mr. Runyan was the son of George and Nandy Edwards Runyan. He was a member of the Waynetown Baptist Church and attended the Waynetown School. Mr. Runyan operated a grocery and meat market in North Vernon. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Helen Runyan; two sons, Clint Runyan Jr., of Crawfordsville and Benton Runyan of Terre Haute; six grandchildren, and three brothers, Walter Runyan of Waynetown, Will Runyan of Vauxhall, Canada, and Davis (Bud) Runyan of Seattle, Wash. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. (EST) Thursday in the Dowd Funeral Home at North Vernon. Following this service the body will be brought to the Waynetown Baptist Church where it will lie in state from noon until 2 p.m. Thursday. Short services will be held in the church at 2 p.m. with Rev. Harvey Burns, former pastor, officiating. Burial will be at the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
