LINDEN — Mrs. Phyllis Jane Royer, 24, wife of Nyle W. Royer of Rt. 1 Romney, died at 5:45 a. m. Friday in Community Hospital, Indianapolis, after a month's illness. She was born Dec. 10, 1935, at Attica, a daughter of Clyde and Imogene Pell VanHook, and was a graduate in 1953 of Jackson Township High School. She attended the Romney Presbyterian Church. She married Mr. Royer July 12, 1953. Surviving are the husband; two daughters, Lorinda, 5, and Joetta Kay, 3; the parents, of Rt. 1 West Point; two brothers, Warren of West Point and William of Rt. 1 Attica; three sisters, Mrs. James Jackson of Lafayette, Mrs. Dale Haxton of Rt. 6 Lafayette and Mrs. Kenneth Chester of Newtown, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are set for 2 p. m. Saturday at the Romney Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Robert Shanklin of the Jackson Township Methodist Church and Rev. Jerome Parker of the Romney Church officiating. Burial will be in the New Richmond Cemetery. Friends may call at the Helms Funeral Home in Linden after p. m. Thursday. --typed by Walt W
