Services for Josephine M. Rountree, 69, of 92 S. Fourth St., will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in St Francis de Sates Church. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Miss Rountree died Saturday in University Hospital, Columbus. She was born June 4,1908, in De Land. Ill., to the late Joseph and Rebecca (Hastaday) Rountree. She was chief deputy in Licking County Probate Court for 38 years, retiring in 1970, and was a consultant for Judge Virginia Weiss's office. She was president of the Lay Women's Retreat League, vice president of the Columbus Diocese of Catholic Women, past president of Northern Deanery of Catholic Women, past president of the Rosary Altar Society of St. Francis de Sates Church, past treasurer of PIME guilds, president of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia, past president and district director of the Business and Professional Women's Club, parlimentarian of the National Council of Catholic Women, and a member of St. Francis de Sales Church. Surviving is a sister, Clementine of the home; nieces and nephews. The family will be present from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tonight in the Egan Funeral Home.
