Friday, Dec 15 - at the home of his sister, Mrs. Laura Wright in Huntington, occurred the death of George Ross. The remains were brought here Saturday and taken to the home of his brother, R. C. (Robert) on South Washington Street from which place the funeral occurred last Sunday at 1 o'clock interment at Masonic Cemetery. George Ross was the youngest son of Thomas and Hannah Ross and was born in this city Aug 16, 1857 being 42 years of age. He grew to manhood here, where he was well and populary kown After leaving this city he was engaged inb usiness with his brother, James R. Ross of Indianapolis. He left that city several years ago for Chicago where he continued to reside until several months ago, when he was taken with consumption, brought on by a series of accidents and exposure and was taken to the home of his sister in Huntington. kbz
