Rosebro - Myrtle Long

ROCKVILLE – Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Long Rosebro, who marked her 100th birthday last month and who died Wednesday, Nov. 3, in the Indiana State Hospital for Chest Diseases here, were held at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Bright Funeral Home in Crawfordsville. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery there. Mrs. Rosebro was the widow of Presbyterian minister, who formerly pastored at the Covington Presybterian minister, ington Presbyterian Church, and was in missionary work for many years. She was a native of Montgomery County and lived in Crawfordsville before entering the hospital in 1960. She was born on a farm north of Crawfordsville Oct. 22, 1865. Her husband, the Rev. Mr. Rosebro, who died in 1926, held pastorates at Danville, Ill., and Covington during the last 10 years of his ministry. The couple did missionary work in Alabama. Mrs. Rosebro is survived by one sister, Mrs. Florence L. Wedding of Muncie. – jlr
