Rose - Lois Sampson

Mrs. Lois Minnie Rose, 51, of 314 Wayne Ave., died at 7:15 p.m. Friday in Culver Hospital, where she had been a patient five weeks. A native of Brycelin, Minn., she was born June 16, 1917 to Porter Theodore and Ila Maude Reynolds Sampson. She married Frank Scott Rose on Sept. 30, 1933 at Ottawa, Ill. They began housekeeping at Somonauk, Ill., and lived in Crawfordsville since 1952. He died in August, 1967. Mrs. Rose was part owner of the Frank S. Rose Paint Co. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. Surviving are her mother, in Sandusky, Mich.; a daughter, Mrs. Loretta Jean Kelsey of Crawfordsville; four sons, Frank L., Allen Fred, Harold James and Theodore Thomas Rose, all of Crawfordsville; three brothers, Donald and Everett Sampson of Somonauk, Ill., and Orville of Sandusky; a sister, Mrs. ……(sorry, rest is miissing) .. – jlr
