Ladoga -- Frank W. Rose, 82, one of the most widely known residents of this community, d. at his home here this morning at 5:20 o'clock after an illness of sev. weeks with a complication of diseases. Mr. R, who was a retired farmer had lived in and near Ladoga all of his life. He was b. near here Sept 7, 1835. On Christmas Day, 1862, he was married to Sarah GRAY. Four children were b. to them, 3 of whom survive with the widow. The children are: Mrs. Forest SANDY of Advance; Richard L. Rose and Edward P. Rose, both of Ladoga. 3 grandchildren and a great grandchild also survive. Mr. Rose lived on a farm near here until 24 years ago, when he retired and moved to this place. He was held a prominent place in the community for many years. He was a member of the Dunkard Church. Funeral services will be held from the home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev.
