Ronk - Maude Kessler

LADOGA – Mrs. Maude Evelyn Ronk, 79, of Ladoga, died Thursday morning in Golden Manor Nursing Home here. She had been a school teacher in Montgomery County and was a retired Montgomery County Welfare Department caseworker. She was a member of the Ladoga Christian Church and a graduate of Manchester College. Born Nov. 28, 1869, she was a daughter of George and Estella Cline Kessler. She married Paul Ronk on June 15, 1919. Surviving are her husband; a son, James of 28 Del Mar Drive; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Johnson of Rt. 2, Crawfordsville, and Mrs. Mary Etta Chase of 681 Cardinal Drive, Lafayette; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A son, brother and great-grandson are deceased. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Perkins Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Ladoga Cemetery. The family has asked that donations be made to the Indiana Children’s Christian Home. Donations may be mailed to the home or left at the funeral home.
