Jamestown – Amos Ronk, 66, died at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette after an illness of two years. He had been employed most recently by the Speedway School system. Born June 29, 1900 in Montgomery County, he was the son of William J. and Julia Neff Ronk. He was married Jan 27, 1921 to Bernice M. Davidson at Danville, Ind. He as a member of the Jamestown Christian Church. The survivors include the wife; five daughters, Mrs. Freda Keller of Reno, Nev; Mrs. Bertha Blacker of Plainfield; Mrs. Phyllis Andreoli of Las Vegas, nev and Mrs. Lou Vaught and Mrs. Marilyn Land, both of Indianapolis and two brothers, Mark Ronk of near Roachdale and Paul Ronk of near Ladoga. He was preceded in death by a sister. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Jamestown Christian Church with jack VanArsdale assisted by Edgar Byram in charge. Burial will be in the Jamestown Odd Fellows Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday at the Walker Funeral Home in Jamestown. - kz
