Roy A. Rogers, 57, husband of a former Crawfordsville woman and a 1932 graduate of Wabash College, died Oct. 16 in Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia. He was senior vice president and manager of Parker & Co. International, Inc., Philadelphia insurance brokers. Mr. Rogers was born in Covington, the son of Roy A. Rogers Sr. and Alma Boord Rogers. He married the former Elizabeth Stubbins of Crawfordsville. The Wabash College alumnus was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity here. He was a graduate student at Stanford University and the University of Missouri. Mr. Rogers was a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in West Vincent where he served three terms as Rector’s Warden of the Vestry. He was a member of the Racquet Club and the Adirondack League Club. Survivors include the widow and a son, Roy Adamson Rogers III. – jlr
