Rogers - Nannie Hale

Mrs. Charles V. Rogers, a well known resident of Browns Valley, died on Sunday night after an illness following a cerebral hemorrhage. Funeral services at the Christian Church Tuesday afternoon were in charge of Rev. C. L. Airhart and Cecil Franklin. The Processional and Recessional were played by Mr. Walker. Claude Lydick, Walter Taylor, Corta Dooley and Claire Wilkinson sang, with Mrs. Walter Taylor at the piano. Burial at Indian Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Rogers, whose maiden name was Nannie T. Hale, was born at Albany in Delaware Co., October 10, 1863. She is survived by the husband and one son, Clyde Rogers, of Crawfordsville. Another son, Clayton, who at one time lived here, is dead. Mrs. Rogers was an active member of the Browns Valley Christian Church, the Royal Neighbors and the Daughters of Rebekah.
