Rogers - Claud

LADOGA – Claud C. Rogers, 84, of Ladoga, died Sunday at 5:30 a.m. in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. He was born in Parke County on July 31, 1884, the son of David and Sarah Stull Rogers. He was married on Dec. 11, 1904 to Rosa Rettinger, who survives He was a member of the United Brethren Church at Bowers Station, and farmed in Montgomery County most of his life. He is survived by two sons, Harley of Crawfordsville and Chester of Monticello; three brothers, John of Colfax, Fred of Kankakee, Ill. and Oakle of Ladoga; a sister, Mrs. Blanche Carr of Frankfort, five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, with Ora Lawton officiating. Burial will be in Ladoga Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. – jlr
