Prof. W. B. Rodman, of Darlington, received a telegram last Saturday announcing the death of his brother, Thomas M. Rodman. Rodman was an employee of the Union Pacific Railway Company. While working in the switch yards at Kansas City, Kansas, his foot became fastened in the fatal frog and a flying engine ran upon him, crushing him in a frightful manner. Mr. Rodman was a trusted employee of the Union Pacific and was formerly a well known citizen of this community.
