Helen Elizabeth Rodgers, 72, of Crawfordsville, formerly of Wallace, died at 4:20 a.m. today in Culver Hospital. Mrs. Rodgers was a homemaker and member of the Methodist Church. Her other memberships included American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. She was a 1937 graduate of Alamo High School. She was born March 23, 1919, at Alamo to Raymond and Nettie Helen Snyder Peacock. Survivors include a son, Ronald of Terre Haute; a daughter, Rita Tolin of Mace; four brothers, James Peacock of Indianapolis, Richard Peacock of Rockville, Kenneth Peacock of Montezuma and Jack Peacock of Lafayette; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday in the Mace Community Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Powers Funeral Home.
