Charles Clifford Rodgers, 69, died at 9:10 p.m. Tuesday Feb 7 1961 at his home in Crawfordsville following a one year illness with a heart condition.  Born Oct 22, 1891, near Wallace, he was the son of Alfred and Ida Durham Rodgers. He was married Feb 17, 1916 at Covington to Ethel Rush who survives. He attended Wallace and Kingman Schools and then farmed and was employed as a service station attendant. Other survivors include two sons, T/Sgt Bernard Rogers of Lincoln, Neb and James of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Mrs. Elmer McGinnis of Parkersburg and Mrs. Rupert Flint of Fremont, Ohio; a brother, Pearly of Rockville; and a sister, Mrs. Opal Harness of Indianapolis and 11 grandchildren.  Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Friday at the Servies Funeral Home. The Rev. John R. Servies will officiate with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery at Crawfordsville. - kbz
