On Wednesday morning a most estimable woman passed through the dark portals of this life into a brighter and better one. Mrs. Sue Robinson, beloved wife of Mr. William Robinson of the Crawfordsville Coffin Company as less than two weeks ago stricken with an attack of la grippe, which despite the careful care and attention of her physician rapidly developed into a more serious complication and as the disease gained a firmer hold of the system her husband and friends began to dread the result. Lung fever of the severest type set in a week ago coupled with a distressing heart trouble and for several days before death, Mrs. Robinson suffered intensely. The combined efforts of several physicians and the loving, tender care of the husband and daughter were futile to stay the hand of death and the end came at 7:45 Wed. morning. Mrs. Robinson was 56 years old and was born in this city, being the eldest daughter of the late Alvin Ramey. She was a devout Christian, having united with the congregation of the First Presbyterian Church at the age of 18 years. She leaves a husband and daughter, Mrs. Moreland Binford, to mourn the greatest loss a family can ever know. kbz
