Mrs. Lavina Robinson, died at the age of 102 in the Masonic Home Hospital in Franklin Sunday at 12:50 p.m. She lived in Crawfordsville and was socially active prior to moving to the Masonic Home in 1957. Mrs. Robinson was born July 31, 1866 in Covington, the daughter of David and Amelia Miller Tanner. She was married to Eriah Eader in 1883 who died in 1908. In 1922 she married Reuben Robinson who also preceded her in death in 1925. When Mrs. Robinson lived in Crawfordsville she resided at the corner of Pike and Walnut Streets with her daughter, Mrs. Robert "Countess" Tinsley, a prominent vocal music teacher in the area. Mrs. Robinson was an active Christian Scientist and a member of Athens Chapter 97, Order of Eastern Star. She was a graduate of the Marion County, Ill., grade school. After Mr. Robinson's death she worked as an insurance agent and gave product demonstrations for Van Camp Foods. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the library, at the Masonic Home Administration Building. Burial is to be in the Masonic plot at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
