Mrs. Amy Robinson, 87, of Waynetown, died at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday Aug. 10, 1975, in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville where she had been a patient three weeks. Mrs. Robinson and her husband, former Postmaster John Robinson farmed from 1918 until his death Oct. 16, 1954. She moved into town in 1956. Mrs. Robinson was a member of Montgomery Co. Farm Bureau and a member of Waynetown Christian Church, its Circle 2, Philathea Baraca Sunday School class and National Association of Retired Federal Employes. She was a 1902 graduate of Wallace High School. A native of the Livegood communit in Fountain County she was born Oct. 20, 1887, daughter of Edward E. and Elvina Underwood. She married John Robsinson Jan. 18, 1911. Surviving are a foster daughter, Mrs. Leath Switzer of Crawfordsville; a niece, Mrs. Katherine Burrin of Leesburg; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Ann Underwood of Warsaw and Mrs. Freda Robinson of Hillsboro; graandniece; and a grandnephew. She was preceded in death by a brother, Albert, and a nephew. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Thomas Funeral Home with the Rev. Herbert Woollard officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Massonic Cemetery. - jlr
