Veedersburg -- Mrs. Nora Belle Robbins, 74, widow of Gilbert Robbins, died Wednesday morning at her home here. she had been ill since suffering a stroke 4 weeks ago. Born April 21, 1879 at Underwood, Ind, Mrs. Robbins was the daughter of Truman and Penelope Hosey Hall. She married Gilbert Robbins in 1897. She was a member of the Baptist Church at Urbana, Ill. Surviving are 4 daughters: Mrs. Goldie Hensley, Columbus, O; Mrs. Irene Berlin, Veedersburg; Mrs. Leona King and Mrs. Margaret Lee, both of Los Angeles, Calif; 4 sons, Henry Robbins, Mohamet, Ill; Gilbert Robbins, Veedersburg; Joseph and Harold Robbins, Danville, Ill; 26 grandhcildren 10 great grandchilren; two brothers, Charles and James Hall, Henyville, Ill and a sister, Mrs. Eva Murphy, Champaign. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Fishero Funeral Home in Veedersburg. Burial will be at Rockfield Cemetery.
