VEEDERSBURG, Ind. (CNS) -- Elsworth Robbins, 85, died at 1 a.m. today (April 5, 1962) at the Britton Nursing Home in Rockville. He had been a patient there since Jan. 20. Mr. Robbins was a retired farmer and was a life resident of Fountain County. He was a member of the Veedersburg EUB Church. Born near Kingman, Dec. 11, 1876, he was the son of Eli and Mary Kerns Robbins. He was married in 1909 to Alice Clouse. She died in 1948. Survivors include a son, Freeman of Veedersburg; two daughters, Mrs. Oveta Crabtree and Mrs. Thelma Breit, both of San Antonio, Tex.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He also was preceded in death by two children, three sisters and a brother. Services will be at 2 p. m. DST Saturday at the Fishero Funeral Home. The Rev. Alfred Dobbs will officiate. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home. Friends will be received after noon Friday. --typed by Walt W
