George, the 15-year-old son of Mr. & Mrs. Tom Rush of  Crawfordsville, was shot through the head and instantly killed on  Sunday evening by Stanley Wilson, a boy of 17. The two boys, with  Joe and George Egan had been to the creek swimming. On their way  back they stopped on the college campus near the old dormitory  where the Wilson boy lived with his aunt, Mrs. Anna Livengood.  The Egan boys say there was no quarrel and that the shooting was  entirely accidental. They did not report the shooting until ten  o'clock. By that time the Wilson boy had disappeared going as was  afterwards learned to Indianapolis, where he had relatives. He  returned on Monday and gave himself up. Tom Rush, the father of  the dead boy, is a brother of Lon Rush and Mrs. Sam Nye and  formerly lived here in Northside. Mrs. Rush is a sister of Reuben  Miles of Browns Valley and she was visiting her brother's family  at the time her son was shot. - kbz
