Waynetown, Jan 12 -- Dr. Lewis Roberts, 82 -year-old veterinarian, died at his home here Tuesday monring. He had been ill 8 days with a kidney infection. Born near Wallace May 22, 1860 the son of Samuel and Hanna WILKINSON Roberts, he was married to Rachel Anna SMITH at Covington. He was a member of the Christian church and had been a resident of Waynetown 35 years. Surviving are the widow and a number of nephews and nieces. A daughter died Dec 18, 1903. Short funeral services will be held at the home at on eo'clock Thursday afternoon after which the body will be taken to the Phanuel Lutheran Church near Wallace for services at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Cemetery near the church.
