William J. Rivers, better known here as "Billy Joe" died in Kansas City MO on Shursday (sic) and was buried on Taturday (sic). Mr. Rivers formerly lived on the farm west of town where Mert Wilshire lives. He moved here from KY. His wife died several years ago. He has two children: John Rivers and Mrs. Kate Courtney both of whom live in Kansas City. Stallard Rivers, living near Milligan is a cousin. -kbz
