Rivers - Rosalie Biddle

Waynetown, May 14 - Mrs. Rosalie Rivers, 64, a life long resident of Montgomery County died at 1:15 o'clock Saturday morning at her residence, 3 miles northeast of Waynetown. Her death occured in the home where she was born and was caused by a stroke of paralysis which she suffered 3 weeks ago.
Mrs. Rivers was born on Feb 10, 1874, the daughter of John P. and Martha Tracy BITTLE (sic) - Biddle. On Jan 3, 1895, she married WIlliam Rivers and she spent her entire life in the vicinity of Waynetown. She was a member of the Waynetown Baptist Church for 45 years, joining the church during the pastorate of Rev. J.R. Rivers.
She is survived by her husband, two sons, Lawrence of Kokomo and Glenn of Crawfordsville; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mary West of Waynetown and Mrs. Eva WIlloughby of Indianapolis and one brother, Oscar Bittle (sic) of Darlington.
The funeral will be held from the late home at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. Rev. I.C. Overman will officiate and burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery - kbz
