Mrs. Laura Jane Ritter, 72, of 608 E. College St. died Wednesday evening in Culver Hospital. She was a member of the Phillipi Christian Church in Kentucky. Born March 5, 1902, in Monroe County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of George W. and Ibbie Birge Bartley. She married Ernest Ritter on Aug. 31, 1919. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, Gilbert of Lake Holiday and Clyde of Crawfordsville; four daughters, Dorothy Carroll of Fresno, Calif., Elzina Wolfe of Fresno, Bessie Moyer of Santa Cruse, Calif., and Ibbie Dryer of Lafayette; a brother, Sebert Bartley of New Richmond; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery at Darlington. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday.--waw
