Linden - Mary Lucille Ritchie, 67, of Linden died at 1:05 p..m. Moday in Home Hospital at Lafayette, following an illness of three months. Mrs. Ritchie was a Linden resident for 40 years. She was a bookbinder for RR Donnelley & Sons from 1940 to 1960. She was born April 23, 1912 in Tippecanoe County, a daughter of Ingramm W. and Ada Deckard Bray. On Sept 27, 1933 she was married at Lafayette to Victor Hagen Ritchie, who died Feb 18, 1875. Surviving are 3 daughters, Mrs. James (Ruth Ann) O'Connor of Lafayette; Mrs. Bill (Ethel) Matthew of West Minister, Calif and Mrs. Frank (Jerry) Holt of Noblesville; 9 brothers, Charles, Claude, Sam, Worthy and Marvin Bray, all of Lafayette; Paul Bray of Bloomington; William Bray of Minneapolis; Ralph Bray of Wesleyville, Pa and Stanley Bray of Channel View, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Pauline Winger of Lafayette; 8 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Ritchie and two brothers, Noble and Robert Bray. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Helms & Hahn Funeral Home at Linden with Rev. Richard Rhoads of Nashville officiating. Burial will be in New Richmond Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 5-9 p.m. Wednesday. - typed by kbz
