Ritchey - George

Covington Feb 11 -- A telegram was received here announcing the death of George RITCHEY of Chaldron, NB and that the body would be sent to Covington. Ritchey was 24 and was a railroader. It is not exactly known hwo he met death but it is understood he was caught between the cars while making a coupling and his life crashed out. He was the son of Jacob Ritchey of this city. He went to NB about 10 years ago secured employment and was making good. His mother and younger brother also lived in Chaldron and they accompanied the body back to Covington arriving here Wed evening. the rmains were taken to the home of an uncle, Enoch Romine across the river where the funeral was held Thursday afternoon and interment made in Mount Cem, Rev EW Strecker officiating.
