Crawfordsville – Mrs. Helen Osborn Ristine, mother of Indiana’s Lt. Gov. Richard O. Ristine, died here Sunday at the age of 74. Death was believed caused by a heart attack. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday. Senate minority leader C. Wendell Martin, R-Indianapolis said he expected the State Senate to adjourn Tuesday afternoon and send an official delegation to the services. Mrs. Ristine had been active in Crawfordsville literary and civic circles. She was the widow of Harley T. Ristine, a local attorney. Survivors in addition to her son include three grandchildren. - kbz
