Wilder Rinehart was called to Lebanon this week by the critical illness of his mother, Mrs. Nancy Rinehart who suffered a paralytic stroke on Sunday. She died Wednesday evening. Funeral services will be held today. She was in her 89th year. - kbz

Mrs. Ann Rinehart who was born in Clinton County Aug 20, 1842 passed away on Wednesday at her home on East Washington Street, Lebanon following a few days illness. Mrs. Rinehart was united in marriage to Samuel Rinehart, a Civil War Veteran Dec 25, 1864. Mr. Rinehart preceded her in death several years ago. To this union were born six children: Wilder D. Rinehart of Waveland; Jesse W. Rinehart of Rochestr; Frank V. Rinehart at home; Harry H. Rinehart of Indianapolis; Mrs. Delia M. Beesey of Thorntown. A son, Orda Chase Rinehart died in infancy. There are also 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a brother, Curtis Durham of Clarks Hill. Mrs. Rinehart was a kind and affectionate mother with many Christian virtues. She was the oldest member of Centenary Methodist Churh in Lebanon. She remembers being in Indianapolis when Lincoln passed through on his way to Washington for his first inaugural. The funeral was held at the Methodist Church on Friday afternoon with Rev. Homer P. Ivey preaching the sermon. - kbz
