Riley - Charles

Charles Riley, a young man residing near Elmdale, was the victim of a very serious and perhaps fatal hunting accident Friday. He had reached the woods where he intended to hunt and taking his gun out the back of the buggy pulling it toward him by the muzzle when the trigger caught somehow and the wearpon was discharged. The charge took effect in his left lung. According to a telephone message this morning he was still alive but his chances for recovery are extremely doubtful. Riley is a young man of about 25 years and is well and favorably known in the Elmdale neighborhood - typed by kbz
