Mrs. Celia M. RIDER, aged 52, a resident of this city, for years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. May OSBORNE, 315 N. Grant Ave, at two this morning after a lingering illness with acute catarrah. While Mrs. Rider's condition was thought serious her death was not anticipated and came as a shock to her relatives and friends. She grew gradually weaker during the night until death came two hours after midnight. Mrs. Rider was b. in Nebraska on Feb 8, 1862 and was the daughter of John and Mary Current. With her mother, she came tot his city sev. years ago and both have made their home with the deceased's daughter. The aged mother of Mrs. Rider survives, together with the dau. at whose house death occurred and one son, Earl Freel, of this city. One sister, Mrs. Mattie Goff is living. The deceased's husband, William Rider d. a few years ago. Fun. services will be conducted from the home of Mrs. Osborne at 4:30 Thurs. afternoon, in charge of Rev. BE Antrobus, pastor of the 1st Bapt. Church. bur. in Oak Hill.
