Waynetown - Thomas B. Richardson, 75, a resident of Waynetown for the past 35 years, died Thursday morning at 10:55 in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville where he had been a patient since Monday evening. He had been ill 12 days. Death was caused by a heart ailment. Born July 11, 1877 in Eighty-Eight, KY he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Richardson. He married Elizabeth E. Huffman June 6, 1905 in Eighty-Eight. She preceded him in death April 6, 1942. Richardson was a member of the Baptist Church at Eight-Eight and had worked as a blacksmith until his retirement two years ago. Surviving are three sons, Dennis C of New Albany; Irvin of Winchester and Charles of Martino, Ill; two daughters, Mrs. Virgil Douglas of Bell, Calif and Carrie Richardson at home; a sister, Mrs. Dollie Branstetter of Eighty Eight, Ky; 10 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. A son, John died August 23, 1951. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Grenard & Servies Funeral Home and burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. - thanks to Don & Peg Proctor for their great work on this cemetery :)
