Ralph E. "Richie" Richardson, 57, 1607 Athens St., employed at R. R. Donnelley & Sons Co. for 32 years, died at 1:20 a.m. Sunday in Culver Hospital. He started his career with the local firm operating a round corner machine. He later worked as a helper on folders and hoist operator. Born April 22, 1915, in Hendricks County, he was a son of Elmer and Minnie Gray Richardson. He attended school at New Ross. He married Catherine E. Jones Sept. 3, 1953. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Charles E. with the U. S. Marine Corps stationed at Washington, D. C.; two daughters, Mrs. Janet Bray of Grissom AFB, Peru, and Mrs. Barbara Martin of Crawfordsville; a stepson, Jack Thompson of Crawfordsville; two brothers, Damon of Plainfield and Elston of Orlando, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Routh of New Ross, and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Russell. Services will be conducted Wednesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.--waw
