Hillsboro—full military funeral was held at 11 a.m. Thursday for James L. Richards, World War I veteran, who died of a heart attack Sunday. The Rev. F. O. Riesinger officiated at Hillsboro Christian Church. Pall bearers were Thomas Orrick and Hansel Cunningham of Waynetown, John Linville, Harold Duke, Archie Reynolds and Oscar Johns. Members of the Legion Auxiliary served as flower bearers and military service, held at Masonic Cemetery, Waynetown, was conducted by Rolland Keeling as chaplain with Charles Humphreys as commander of firing squad composed of John Giovanini, Sim Booe and Glen Tinsley. Color Guard comprised of Thomas Brown, Orville Swearingen, Alfred Burk and Lawrence Davis, with Miss Ileen Thompson, Waynetown, as bugler. -s-
