ROCKVILLE — Mrs. Sylvia May Rich, 86, a life-long resident of Parke County, died at 5:50 p.m. Saturday in the Parke County Nursing Home. She had been in failing health for several months. A member of Mecca Wesleyan Church, she was born Nov. 26, 1884, a daughter of William and Sarah Millikin Manwaring. She was married in 1907 to John A. Rich. He preceded her in death in 1955. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Ball of Rockville and Mary Campbell of Anderson, .six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Butler Funeral Nome with Rev. John E. Lamb officiating. Burial will be in Memory Garden Cemetery.
