NEW RICHMOND — Mrs. Lois "Joanne" Rich, 49, a lifetime resident of New Richmond, died at 8:10 p.m. Wednesday in Home Hospital at Lafayette where she had been a patient since Jan. 2. Mrs. Rich had been a cook at the R&R Lounge at Wingate. Born Oct. 18, 1927, at Lafayette, she was a daughter of Lauren and Wilma Payne Stribbling. She married Charles F. Rich on May 1, 1952 in Lafayette. He survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dwight (Brenda) Fetterling of Lafayette; a sister, Margery Brady of New Richmond; a brother, Gene Stribbling of Waynetown; and three grandchildren. Services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Saturday in Helms Funeral Home at Linden with the Rev. Lou Snyder officiating. Burial will be in New Richmond Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday.--waw
