LINDEN --- Blanche L. Rich, 81, of Rt. 3, Decatur, a native of Linden, died at 7 a.m. Saturday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dorman (Jean) Hughes. Mrs. Rich had been a resident of Decatur six years. She was a member of Linden Christian Church, Order of Eastern Star 377 at New Richmond and Round Hill Aid Society. Born Feb. 27, 1894, she was a daughter of Hubbard and Dora Burk Parker. She married James H. Rich on Sept. 28, 1918. He survives. Also surviving are a son, Charles of New Richmond; the daughter, Mrs. Hughes; and five grandchildren. A sister and three brothers are deceased. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Philip and St. James Episcopal Church at Decatur with the Rev. William Gibson officiating. Graveside rites will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Linden Cemetery with the Rev. Mr. Gibson officiating. Friends may call at the Zwick Funeral Home at Decatur. - kbz
