Mrs. Albert Rice who lived on No. 234, East of 47, and has been seriously ill for some time, died on Monday at her home. Her maiden name was Stilwell and she was born May 19, 1869. She married Albert Rice April 1891. There is one son, Thomas Rice of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Robert Canine and a brother, Archie Stilwell. - thanks, Sue

New Market, Jan. 29 -- Mrs. Albert Rice, life-long resident of Montgomery county, died at her home three miles southwest of here at 10:45 p.m. Monday after a two months' illness. Complications of diseases was held as the cause of death. Mrs. Rice was born in this county May 19, 1869. She was married to Albert Rice in April 1891. She was a member of the Freedom Baptist church. Surviving are the husband, a son, Thomas Rice of near Crawfordsville; one sister, Mrs. Alice Canine, Waveland, and one brother, Arch Stilwell of near New Market. The body was taken to the Noble Reeves funeral home at New Market where it will be kept until noon Wednesday when it will be removed to the Freedom Baptist church for funeral services. Services will be held at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon with the Rev. Banks in charge. The body will lie in state at the church one hour preceding the rites and burial will be made at the Freedom cemetery. - thanks, Sue P :)
