Robert J. Rice, former resident of Crawfordsville, died early Thursday morning in Hannibal, Mo., after suffering a heart attack. Mr. Rice, who was reared in Crawfordsville, had been a resident of Hannibal for the last 15 years. The deceased was a carpenter. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Katherine Dodd of Hannibal, and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Ollie Brown of Crawfordsville. Services are pending at the O'Donnell Funeral Home at Hannibal.

Survivors of Robert J. Rice, in addition to those listed previously, include a brother, Garnet Rice of Colfax, and four sisters, Mrs. Pauline Powell of West Point, Mrs. Dorothy Mariottie of Chicago, Mrs. Edna Jackson of Little Rock, Ark., and Mrs. Helen Hilt of Lafayette. Mr. Rice died early Thursday morning in Hannibal, Mo.
