Ladoga - Mrs. Orra (sic) Rice, 73, former resident of Ladoga died Friday at her home in Indianapolis. She resided at 228 S. LaSalle St. A native of Ladoga, Mrs. Rice was the daughter of George and Viola Wright Foxworthy. She was married to Harry Rice, who died a year ago last May. Mrs. Rice was an active member of the Methodist Church. She had resided in Indianapolis since the early 1920s. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Donna Viola Anderson of Fortville, Ind and Mrs. Harriet Smith of Monroeville, a suburb of Pittsburg, PA; two brothers, John Foxworthy of Boerne, Tx and Dr. Delbert Foxworthy of Tipton, Ind; 8 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Shirley Brothers Irvin Hill Chapel, 5277 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis. Friends may call at the funeral home.
