Rice - Mary - 1893 - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Mrs. Mary Rice, aged 68 years, died last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. W. Ramsey, on South Walnut Street. She had been very ill for two weeks with paralysis and her death was not unexpected. The funeral will occur tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock, conducted by Rev. H. A. Tucker with interment at Oak Hill.  Mrs. Rice was one of the oldest and best known residents of the county. She was a most excellent old lady and her long life was one of usefulness and help. She dies leaving a blessed memory for the good she has done.
