John Rice, son of Mrs. Effie Rice died on Friday. He was suffering with measles but in spite of that continued to do the milking and other chores. The disease affected his brain for the last 3 days before his death and was unconscious. The body was taken to Clinton Falls Cemetery on Saturday afternoon and laid to rest beside the mother. He was 19 years old and was a quiet, industrious young man. He was a member of the ME Church having joined during the Aikman revival. A curious feature is that his sister, who is ill at the home of John Webb, dreamed of the death of her brother the night before. All the other Rice people are improving. kbz
